Pengaruh Cara Pengeringan dengan Microwave terhadap Perolehan Kadar Senyawa Fenolat dan

Aktivitas Antioksidan dari Daun Dewa (Gynura pseudochina (Lour.), Merr.)

Abstract

The research about the effect of microwave drying methods on content of phenolic compounds and antioxidant activityof Gynura pseudochina,(Lour.) Merr. have been done. The determination of phenolic compounds was carried out according to Folin-Ciocalteu method and antioxidant activity was evaluated by DPPH method, calculated as gallic acid equivalent (GAE). The research showed that the highest phenolic compounds and the strongest antioxidant activity obtained by microwave drying method compared by air drying method. The phenolic compounds each gram sample by using microwave drying is 1.673 mg phenolic compounds and antioxidant activities were calculated as the IC50 at concentration 2.876 mg/mL.

Pengaruh Polivinilpirolidon K-30 terhadap Disolusi Ketoprofen dalam

Sistem Dispersi Padat

Abstract

Effects of polyvinylpyrrolidone K-30 on dissolution characteristics of solid dispersion systems have been studied. Solid dispersions were prepared by solvent method using several ratios of ketoprofen-polyvinylpyrrolidone K-30 as follows 1:9, 3:7, 5:5, 7:3, 9:1. Physical mixtures of ketoprofen-polyvinylpyrrolidone K-30 were used as a comparison. The solid dispersion systems and physical mixtures were evaluated for physicochemical properties and dissolution characteristics. Dissolution tests were measure with modified basket method using pH 7.2 phosphate buffer as dissolution medium. Samples were taken up after 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45, and 60 minutes. Results generally showed that solid dispersion system of ketoprofen-polyvinylpyrrolidone K-30 have a different physicochemical properties compared to physical mixtures and pure ketoprofen and exhibited better dissolution rate and dissolution efficiency of ketoprofen. Dissolution efficiency and dissolution rate constant of the solid dispersion system were 59.41%, and 1.66 mg/s, respectively.

Efek Ekstrak Etanol Daun Cacao Theobroma Cacao L. terhadap Aktifitas Sistem Saraf Pusat

Abstract

                The research about stimulant activity of the central nervous system from the ethanol extract of cacao leaves ( Theobroma cacao L.) to mice ( Mus musculus ) has been done. The observation of stimulant activity from the other doses gives to experiment of animal with oral. It does with rota – road tools, the motoric of activity test, automatichole board tools and the times of inductive sleep and the long time sleep by mice with 50 mg/Kg BB i.p doses. The finalty reseach knows that ethanol extract of cacao leaves with 250 and 500 mg/Kg BB doses characteristic stimulant. It looks that mount the power of venture, activity motoric, feel knows, the time of inductive sleep and the short time with experiment of animal if it compare with control group.

Uji Disolusi Beberapa Tablet Parasetamol yang Ada di Perdagangan

Abstract

The dissolution test four generic tablets and one branded name of parasetamol tablets has been undertaken. Method applied was in the paddle method as required by Pharmacopea of Indonesian ed. IV. Paracetamol concentration measured spectrophotometrically at maximum wave length of 243 nm in dissolution medium pH 5.8 phosphate buffer solution. The result dissolution test to comply with tolerance is not less than 80% of the labeled amount of paracetamol is dissolved in tweenty minutes. The dissolution about drown from the plot between percentage of paracetamol dissolved versus time.The percentage of paracetamol dissolved at T30 analyzed by using ANOVA test. Result showed in the dissolution rates between generic 1,2,3,4 and branded name were significant different take. Then continued to DUNNET test , only generic 2 tablets was not significantly difference whereas the other generic tablets were significant differences.

Pengaruh Pemberian Kombinasi Kromium (III) Klorida dengan Vitamin C terhadap

Abstract

Research about giving influence of combination of chloride (III) chromium with vitamin C to rate kolesterol white mouse blood has been done. Attempt animal is divided by five groups of that is group of control, group given vitamin C 0.52 mg/20 g body weight (BW), group given vitamin C 0.52 mg/20g BW and chromium (III) chloride with dose 5.2; 6.5; and 7.8 mg /20g BW. Measurement of cholesterol rate done at day to day 8, 15, and 22 with enzimatis method applies spectrophotometer. Result of research show that giving of combination of chromium (III) chloride at dose 5.2; 6.5; and 7.8 mg/20g BW give vitamin C 0.52 mg/20 g BW and give time depth can give influence to rate kolesterol white mouse blood.

Uji Aktivitas Antimikroba Ekstrak Metanol Daun Tabat Barito

Abstrak

An antimicrobial activity studies from methanol extract of the leaves Tabat Barito (Ficus deltoidea Jack) to some bacterias and fungis with diffusion method and determination of Minimum Inhibitory Consentration (MIC) by using dilution method have been done. From antimicrobial activity test by using diffusion method show that methanol extract of the leaves Tabat Barito (Ficus deltoidea Jack) can inhibit the growth of bacterias and fungis. The MIC for staphylococcus aureus is 1%, for staphylococcus epidermis is 0.7%, for staphylococcus aeruginosa is 0.8%, and for eschericha coli is 0.7%.

Pengaruh Perebusan Terhadap Kadar Senyawa Fenolat Total dan Daya Antioksidan Dari

Daun Kol (Brassica oleracea L. Var. capitata L,)

Abstract

 

A determination of total phenolic compounds and antioxidant activity from cabbage leaves (Brassica olerace L var capitata L,) using spectrophotometry has been done. The determinan of total phenolic compounds was carried out according to Folin-Ciocalteu method and antioxidant activity was evaluated by DPPH method. Result of total phenolic compounds determinant showed that a fresh sample, sample boiled for 10 minutes, sample boiled for 20 minutes, sample boiled for 30 minutes were 363.395 µg/g, 44.198 µg/g, 39.510 µg/g, 33.156 µg/g while antioxidant activity at fresh sample were 60.55% in 0,1 g/mL fresh extract and for 10 minutes, sample boiled for 20 minutes, sample boiled for 30 minutes were 75.16%; 45.65%; 44.40%. Based on result of this research, concluded that treatment of boiling can reduce total phenolic compounds and antioxidant activity from cabbage leaves (Brassica olerace L. var capitata L,).

Abstract

 

The research of the making of Virgin Coconut Oil emulsion with the Acasia and its activity test as a SGOT dan SGPT against white female mouse had been done. The liver damage was inducted using paracetamol doses 0.026 g/20g BB. The emulsion was made with dry gom method and evaluated in stability and VCO emulsion viscocity using a Viscometer Stomer. The parameter observed was the decreasing of SGOT and SGPT activities during giving 1, 3, 7 medicine. The result indicated that the emulsion VCO was stable using Acasia as emulsifying agent to 50°C during 6 hours and can be used as the decreasing SGOT and SGPT activities at observating on day 2, 4 and 8.

Abstract

 

A determination of phenolic compounds and antioxidant activity from Psidium guajava leaf by UV–Visible spectrophotometry has been done. The determination of phenolic compounds was carried out according to Folin-Ciocalteau method and antioxidant activity was evaluated by DPPH method, calculated as gallic acid equivalent (GAE). The determination of phenolic compound showed that the fresh sample , air drying, oven drying 40°C and oven drying 60°C contained 11.207; 4.129; 4.525 and 8.357 mg GAE/g Sample, IC50 of these sample were 0.218; 0.515; 0.50 and 0.315 mg/g, respectively.

Abstract

 

Research about exploiting of straw as component of ethanol as fermentation based on difference able of inoculums consentration and fermentation time has been studied. Straw utilized in this research is result of agriculture raffle from rice plant type IR 46, which taken away from rice field the district of Lubuk Minturun, Padang. The first, stage hydrolysis was done to straw using H2SO4 P 1% with various time 30, 60, 120, 180 and 240 minute and determined glucose produced for each sample. The fermentation of ethanol by using Saccharomyces cereviceae bacterium were conducted at temperature 30ºC with speed 100 rpm. Sampling was taking every 6 hours (6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48, 54, 60, 66). The inoculum’s grade level is variation by 1, 2, 3% v/v. Results showed that the optimum hydrolysis time wich mark by highest glucose rate is minute 240 with grade level 0.7765 %. The highest ethanol grade of which can be yielded with inoculum 1% was 0.02066 % v/v at yeast inoculum 2 % was of 0.02549 % v/v and yeast inoculum 3 % was of 0. 07804 % v/v.

Abstract

The effect of drying methods on gaining of phenolic content and antioxidant activity of Phyllanthus niruri herbs have been investigated. The phenolic content was determined by using Folin-Ciocalteu method and antioxidant activity was determined by DPPH method. Result of this investigation showed that phenolic content of fresh, air drying, 400C oven drying, and 600C oven drying were 4.965 mg/g; 0.972 mg/g; 2.022 mg/g and 1.625 mg/g, respectively. IC50 of these sample were 0.445 mg/mL; 4.030 mg/mL; 0.697 mg/mL and 1.875 mg/mL.

Research about usage of antibiotic at Barn Eye of RSUP DR. M. Djamil Padang to year 2005 up to 2007. Result of obtained research pursuant to data of retrospective at cataract patient, pterigium, tumor and conjunctivitis show eye patient which is higher infection of year 2005 equal to 19.49 % year 2006 equal to 18.57 % year 2007 equal to 25.67 %. So that usage of high antibiotic also in the year 2005 equal to 47.37 %. year 2006 equal to 79.79 %. year 2007 equal to 45.26 %. Usage of antibiotic pursuant to precisely indication at disease of cataract, pterigium, tumor and conjunctivitis at precise eye patient 100 % in the year 2005 up to 2007. Precisely dose usage of antibiotic at cataract patient of pterigium, tumor and konjungtivitis at precise eye 100 % in the year 2005 up to 2007. Usage of correct antibiotic of patient, precise of drug, precise is way of wearing, at type medicines amoxicillin, chloramphenicol, and precise siprofloxacin 100 % in the year 2005 up to 2007. From result of interview obtained at patient which less than five day taken care of to get continuation recipe to go home

Abstract

 

A research has been performed on the effect of lubricant to a solid dispersion system of paracetamol tablet with polyetilenglicol 6000, the solid dispersion system of paracetamol-polyetilenglicol 6000 is prepared through the dissolution method with 7 : 3 comparison. Then physiochemical characteristics and dissolution profile evalution is ferformed to three lubricant materials, which is aerosol, stearate magnesium, and talcum.

The result of research shows that the solid dispersion system of paracetamol-polyetilenglicol 6000 to each lubricant material has fulfilled the conditions physiochemical characteristic and dissolution speed examination, it is concluded that aerosol lubricant is better that stearate magnesium and talcum lubricants.

Abstract

 

Effect of antiinflamantory extract ginger rhizome ethanol has been observed on white male mice. Extract is given buccally with dose 30, 100, 300 mg/kg BB, while preparation is becoming with dose 360 mg/kg BB. Parameter antiinflamantory observed with calculating ability of extract and preparation thus ginger lessens or depress degree of oedema during certain. Level of oedema volume happened is measured by means of pletisnometer. The result of research indicates that ginger ethanol extract at dose 30, 100, 300 mg/kg BB and preparation thus ginger with dose 360 mg/kg BB gives effect antiinflamantory. Highest effect given by ginger extract with dose 300 mg/kg BB with inhibition percentage happened at to 6 at day ke-10 that is 84%. And result of statistician examination in analysis variansi ( ANOVA) to oedema volume after giving of ethanol extract and preparation became ginger to give effect antiinflamantory which real is different if it is compared to control.

Toksisitas Akut Ekstrak Etanol Daun Jambu Bol

Abstract

 

The research of acute toxicity of the etanolic extract of the leave of Jambu Bol (Eugenia malaccencis L.) has been done. Parameter measure were LD50 and the delay toxic effect during 14 day observation covering body weight, water intake, urine output, and relative weight of the liver, heart, and kidney. The toxicity by oral administration of the leave of Jambu Bol (Eugenia malaccencis L.) with dose 16 g/kg BB. that showed the etanolic extract of leave Jambu Bol (Eugenia malaccencis L.) is practical not toxic category (LD50 > 15 g/kg BB). The delay toxic effect was seen by significant changes in body weight and water intake, and was not see significant changes in urine output and the relative weight.

 

 

FORMULASI PASTA GIGI BROMELAIN KASAR DARI BATANG NENAS

(Ananas comosus L. Merr Var Queen) SEBAGAI PEMBERSIH GIGI

ABSTRACT

The studies about formulating toothpaste of crude bromelain from steams of pineapple (Ananas comusus L. Merr Var Queen) as cleaner of teeth have been done. Concentration of crude bromelain were used 3 %, 5 %, and 7 % respectly. The parameter evaluated conclude organoleptic observation, homogenity, pH, particle size distribution, spread test, foam test, preference test with panelist, and affectivity test with O.H.I.S (Oral Hygiene Index Simplified) Methods. The result showed that toothpaste Fl [3 %] has given best result based on physic evaluated and preferences test of panelist. The affectivity test as cleaner of teeth with O.H.I.S (Oral Hygiene Index Simplified) methods has given by toothpaste F3 [7 %].
